Quality Control Associate

Job Desciption:
The Quality Control Associate will be responsible for inspecting and auditing inbound and outbound shipments at the company’s distribution center. This person will obtain quality control guidelines from the Merchandising team and shall communicate any quality control concerns accordingly. Additionally, this person will inspect all outbound VIP customer orders to ensure 100% order accuracy. This position is based in our warehouse located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard (transportation assistance is provided).
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Conduct inspection audit of inbound goods
• Perform thorough inspection of all VIP orders
• Create and maintain quality procedures for checking inbound and outbound goods
• Track, report and communicate feedback on condition of merchandise from multiple vendors
Qualifications:
• 2-5 years work experience
• Experience in quality control required
• Experience in logistics preferred
• Interest in fashion, retail, and ecommerce
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with various team members, suppliers, vendors, and cross functional team
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word applications as well as email applications (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Entourage, etc.)
